The Greenville Drive-In has been an institution in the Northern Catskills of New York State since it was built in 1959 by Peter Carelas.
In 2015, Dwight Grimm and Leigh Van Swall took over the operation and upgraded the projection booth with the necessary digital equipment to screen modern films. They added a fully-licensed biergarten and stage to the concessions area to allow for a wider range of entertainment and special events.
The drive-in season typically runs from the first week of May until Columbus Day weekend every year.
